Rooney only took 9 minutes to make his impact not only on the game but also on the title. It was very good play between Giggs and Anderson, to set up Rooneys tap in. The goal was against the run of play becuase Pompey had started very well.
With only 8 minutes left on the clock Carrick planted the ball in the corner to wrap up the game and maybe the title?
Man U are now 3 points ahead with still a game in hand, I know only one thing and thats the game against Arsenal could have a massive impact on where the title ends up!
Would also like to congratulate Paul Scholes on getting 600 caps, shame hes ginger
United missed a lot of easy chances. It should have been 6-0.

They just need to concentrate and not underestimate other teams, surely they will be champion for this season
There is no doubt I(Manchester United) am going to win this season title again and considering I'm still having a game in hand.I gave kudos to the old horse(paul Scholes),the energiser(Wayne rooney),Never say die(Ryan Giggs)and the magestic one(Alex Ferguson).They all impress me on the 2 nil bashing of portsmouth.You're doing a great job here on your blog,keep more of it coming.
